Australian Producer Simon Mann presents Darker Times, four textural tracks invoked by a time of reflection.

The EP opens with Daunting Reflections, a chaotic noise-scape with haunting bells, a slightly manic synth drone and a deep sense of foreboding which sets the scene of a soul cast into the bardos, navigating a world of shadow and karma.

Uncharted further maps the world of the dead. Haunting echos and deep bass movements create a sense of tension and mystery while navigating a landscape that is distinctly personal but deeply foreign.

Through Fog is a minimal drone-scape laden with eerie pads and minimal muted percussion. Dark bass ebs and flows throughout while dubbed chordal washes pulse through bleak fog noise.

Finally Polarity is the marriage of light and dark tones in a melancholic arrangement that offers hope and healing while on desperate search for meaning in the darkness.

This EP is dedicated to Ian Mann, may you rest easy and find safe passage.
